The stats and strength of the skeleton you summon will never change even if you get your conjuration to 100. If you are a full mage at the beginining of the game you have the ability of summon skeleton. That is a little confusing so here is an example. But the higher your conjuration the more powerful guys you can summon. No, it doesn't the higher your conjuration does not effect how strong your summoned beings are. For example if you want to make a spell that requires 50 restoration but have a skill of only 44, you can fortify your restoration skill by 6 points and the altar will allow you to make it (although you cannot use it yet).įortifying a skill to 70+ will allow you to do that skill's Master Training quest.

The only exceptions are the Mercantile skill (level 75 and 100) and the Armorer skill (level 100).Īlthough fortifying a skill will not allow you to use spells of higher requirements, you can use fortify skills to create higher level spells at an altar of spell creation. So if your Acrobatics skill is 49 and you use a Fortify Acrobatics spell, you still cannot use the dodge roll. So if your Alchemy skill is 51 and you use a Fortify Alchemy 8pts spell, your Alchemy skill is now 59 (for X seconds).Įnchantments on items (armor pieces) are permanent (well, until you remove them).įortifying a skill past 100 only works for Acrobatics/Athletics.įinally, you cannot get new skill perks with Fortify Skill.
